Although PDA is not an accredited provider of the national and further certificates for pharmacist’s assistants, we do have service level agreements in place with two major accredited training providers.
We assist aspiring students with the enrolment and registration process with training providers and serve as a liaison between the two parties, at no extra cost to the student. We provide this service to students from any pharmacy and group.
There are a few important pre-requisites for aspiring pharmacist’s assistant students:
• They must already be employed in a pharmacy.
• The pharmacy they are employed in must be registered as a training site with a registered tutor in that site.
• The student must have matric, with supporting documentation readily available.
We also offer supplementary courses to pharmacist’s assistants who wish to increase their knowledge and skills.
